The Modest Proposal: A Journal of Books, Opinion, and Comment is an electronic periodical currently publishing three times per year. It represents a collectively-edited attempt at forging a community based on critical dialog, strident writing, and continued engagement with the intellectual world. We welcome submitted fiction [prose, poetry, plays], non-fiction, critical comment, and book reviews of work published within the last two years.
